What's New?

About the Project
The Rio Linda Elverta Recreation and Park District (District) last completed a Parks and Recreation Master Plan in 2005-2006. The Plan needs to be updated to consider continued growth and the expectation of new housing in the next ten years. The District currently manages and maintains seven parks and a community center with a range of programs including drivers education and safety classes, summer camps, fitness, and arts and culture programs.
There is the opportunity and need to develop a parks and recreation master plan to help guide future development, allocate resources, and ensure the community is well served. The Plan will prioritize preserving and enhancing the community character and ensuring new development is balanced with the improvement and maintenance of current parks and facilities.

The Master Plan process was paused due to the COVID-19 crisis and has now restarted. Get involved in the process today by sharing your vision for our parks and recreation programs.
